Batch Reactor
Batch Reactor is a closed processing vessel used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and specialty manufacturing industries. All reactants are charged into the reactor at the beginning of the process, where they are mixed under controlled temperature and pressure conditions. The reaction proceeds for a predetermined time without the addition or removal of materials, after which the finished product is discharged. Batch reactors are highly versatile, making them ideal for small- to medium-scale production, research and development, and manufacturing processes that require precise control over reaction parameters. They are commonly equipped with agitators, heating/cooling jackets, and automated control systems to ensure consistent product quality, safety, and efficiency.
Application
Batch Reactor are widely used in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, cosmetic, paint, resin, adhesive, dye, and specialty chemical industries for mixing, blending, heating, cooling, and carrying out controlled chemical reactions in batches.
